The last batch of photos from these amazing snorkeling trips in front of Azure Del Mar, Maya Beach Belize. 

They have a long pier in front of the restaurant, and if you swim underneath it, it is packed tightly with itty bitty juvenile fish. It really is the eye of a fish storm. These tiny fish will swirl around you in this crazy whirling dance, flashing through lights and shadows so rapidly, that it becomes mesmerizing, almost hypnotic. This had to be one of the most soothing experiences I’ve had in a long time. If I wanted to go somewhere to meditate, this is where I would be, because this crazy pattern they make in the water slows my brain down to a point where there is nothing left, but relaxation. 

This was an incredible experience. I was truly surprised at how clear the water was. Some of these subjects in these photos were way too deep for me to be able to get a clear shot of them, and, I’ve got a couple at the end that are showing a 15 foot depth from the surface, and another one that shows the drop off that is far deeper, but you can still see to the bottom. It was really great snorkeling, and I would be happy to go back and hold my head underwater there any day.
